This is one of my favorite pictures from one of my best faux painting projects in San Diego. The colors of this “limestone” finish were developed to be both neutral and yet warm up the entryway, lobby and staircases of a beautiful private, historic home in Point Loma. (Everything had been painted solid off-white by the design team before us). Full of incredible vintage woodwork, original metalwork and other architectural details, this home needed me to restore the proper regal touch intended by its original designer, San Diego architecture hero Frank Hope.
