Faux stone entry | main archway

I’ve been working on these pictures trying to balance the light levels not to look so funky. I’m standing in the front doorway, so this is a “first impression” shot, how you first encounter the interior of the home and the faux painted limestone block finish I created for it.

There is sun at my back bouncing up off the scarlet carpets– for this time of day, the pink color of the painted walls in the picture is a fairly accurate rendering of the reflected light. This picture just captures the shady & stately interior feel in pleasant contrast to its splashy views of San Diego bay.
