I’ve been working on these pictures trying to balance the light levels not to look so funky. I’m standing in the front doorway, so this is a “first impression” shot, how you first encounter the interior of the home and the faux painted limestone block finish I created for it.
There is sun at my back bouncing up off the scarlet carpets-- for this time of day, the pink color of the painted walls in the picture is a fairly accurate rendering of the reflected light. This picture just captures the shady & stately interior feel in pleasant contrast to its splashy views of San Diego bay.
