Okay, birthday week and pagan midwinter are over, its officially the new year and back to work.
Continuing on the faux limestone entryway documentation, this picture reveals some of the “inset” panel painting I did in the unusual plaster archways leading into the lower foyer in context with the main wall treatments of horizontal block.
I had a two person crew handling the majority of the lay in which enabled me to do the archways entirely in my own hand with full attention, a comparative luxury to most (profitable) art gigs. Thanks again to my partners on this project, Chism Brothers Painting of San Diego.
