I love this embedded venetian plaster job for its perfect fit with both the client’s home (from my professional point of view) and the client herself.

The interior designer and the client gave me a wide open field to decide and design what the finish for this contemporary fireplace would be, which remains high praise because the designer and the clients had hand picked everything in this amazing custom home from the ground up– and I loved every bit of it.

People who know me know I’m picky and for the most part not effusive in my praise if I don’t really believe it, so let me reaffirm: this is a GORGEOUS house, and that has a relatively small amount to do with my small contributions to the whole.
