Okay here’s the final-final shot of the completely completed hero wall of the Circus playroom-- I faux wood grained the bottom half of the vintage vent grate to disappear into the baseboards, tied in the plug and faceplate, and added the lions, ringmaster and monkey holding back the curtain. The monkey is painted on a separate board, cutout and mounted on top of the bathroom door-- I wouldn’t even try to trompe l’oeil him directly onto the panelled door like the circus tent faux wall finish.
