Immediately after my “Three Graces Bench” was installed at Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego for the Benchmark Project for the 2003 Super Bowl festivities.

Benchmark was a group public art project with over a hundred artists in San Diego improvising on the bench theme and multiple installations around the city.

I’ve never published this one, even though its great for scale, probably because of the look on my face. I’d been up for a couple of days finishing the thing, not just detail but clear coating for exterior location, too. Click here to see the bench with out me :)
