Finally found the file of originals of this series of pics from 2003 when I made a bunch of cool composite molds for a couple of precast concrete yards in San Diego.
This is one of my favorite “hero” pics, where I’m demolding the plaster original of the biggest corinthian capital I’ve personally seen poured in concrete.
The “jacket” I’m holding in my hands is a flexible urethane mold that, when held in shape by the rigid outer mother mold, will recreate all the ornamental detail of the original in new concrete capitals.
